The photo must be in colour. The aspect ratio must be between 0.66 and 0.89. After cropping, the face must cover 60 to 70% of the image. Show the face from the front, with forehead, eyes, nose and chin visible. No caps, hats, sunglasses or coloured glasses. Normal spectacles are allowed; take them off if you cannot avoid glare. A head covering is only for religious reasons, with the face fully visible. The notice does not say how recent the photo must be.
